APPLE RELEASES BRAND NEW iPOD TOUCH!!!!! w/ Retina, Facetime & HD video!

This morning, Apple released the brand new iPod Touch, the fairly resembles the iPhone 4. It comes with Retina Display, Facetime, HD Video Recording and Editing, a Game Center, Music, and Movies and TV Shows. Sounds extremely spiffy to me!

Canon releases EOS 60D DSLR with FRESH NEW IMAGE!

Boy o boy! Is this camera a beauty or what? This camera has been upgraded a ton! Canon upgraded this camera by boosting the looks and quality of this camera. The monitor also is vari-angled. Meaning that you can view it at any angle. As Nikon tries to step their game up, they are once again pushed back by Canon's outstanding quality.

This camera boasts 1080p movie mode. The 60D is a hybrid of both, the Rebel T2i and the 7D. The camera has a 18 megapixel image that offers in camera image filters. Fancy! It gives creativity to the user. Canon didn't have a problem re-modeling the 50D, it was bound to happen. This camera shoots 1080p at 30 & 24 fps. 720p at 60 & 50fps. 480p at 60 & 50 fps. Not to mention that the monitor display gives off a EXTREMELY high resolution at 1,040,000 dots in a 3-inch, articulated LCD.

This camera is priced at around $1099.99 on Canon's website, but is for body only. This camera is definitely a major investment any serious photographers and videographers should purchase. Anyone purchasing this will end up spending around $1400+.

Nikon releases D3100 with Auto-Focus

         This camera comes loaded with a 3 in monitor, 11 point auto-focus system, 1080p movie mode, and a 14.2 megapixel image. How can you beat that? And its only $700!!!!! I purchased Canon's Rebel T2i, and that starting price was $899. Nikon is pushing the DSLR prices way down.

   This camera is bringing auto-focus to video mode. The video mode, chooses a face to focus upon, and auto-focus's for you. I am a Canon fan. I own the Canon T2i. I love the camera very much! But if my camera had auto-focus while in video mode, I would poo myself. This brings another step towards DSLR footage looking closer to film. With this focus mode, you don't need a focus puller to do your work for you. This movie mode basically replicates HDV footage, but with a film look. The future is near!

   This camera shoots 1080p at 30fps and 24fps. This is something new to Nikon. Their previous cameras shot at a maximum of 720p. The file is shot into a .mov format and has a maximum record time of 10 minutes.

Never the less, Nikon out did themselves with this $700 DSLR camera.
